Lyxpro guitar10/30/2023 ![]() Unsurprisingly, some people report tuning issues that were resolved once they put on a new set of tuners. They work but don’t have quite the right feel to them. The tuning machines, in contrast, are below-average. However, quite surprisingly, the bridge and the whammy bar work as expected and give you decent adjustment options. And even though a tremolo/vibrato bridge looks like a good deal, the cheaper ones are not known for their tuning stability. The vibrato bridge, quite the surprise at this price, works decently and is secured on the body with 6 screws. The hardware on the LyxPro is nothing to write home about, but they work satisfactorily. But be ready to put in some elbow grease as quality control is hardly the selling point of the LyxPro electric guitar. That being said, the finishing on the neck, especially the fingerboard, is quite decent. The fretwork is quite decent for the price, as only a few minor sharp ends needed sanding/filing down. The neck on the LyxPro electric guitar is straight as it should be and has a thin profile making it “fast.” The Canadian maple used for the neck is good quality, and the neck joint feels sturdy. The guitar is lightweight but feels solid in the hands. The manufacturers do not state the tonewood used for this guitar but the neck is made of Canadian maple long with a Rosewood fingerboard. Overall, the guitar looks beautiful in its thick, glossy coating and is available in 10 colors in both left and right-handed variants. As with almost all cheaper instruments, the quality control could be a hit or miss, especially the fretwork, which might need some filing to be properly playable. The build quality is good, even impressive for the price, along with the finishing and craftsmanship, which is also quite decent. Everything from the pickup arrangement to the pickguard and from the body contours to the control knobs resembles the Strat. So, think twice before punching your card. The design of this guitar is based on the famous and iconic Fender Strat or Stratocaster. Why? Comparatively, this one is cheap but not worthy enough for a beginner. ![]() If you want an honest opinion, then I have a bit of doubt regarding this amp. I am not satisfied with the overall sound. But before that, let me give you a quick positive and negative remarks. However, as an amp reviewer, I will request you to not depend on my opinion. You have to invest your time in fixing up the familiar sound from this. The sound quality falls apart after a certain amount of practice. For example, the band EQ could be better. So, if I compare Lyxpro with them, then they could have research the competitors to improve their product. Fender, Marshall, Orange are one of the big heroes in the amp universe. There is a lot of big fish in the amp market. Lyxpro has an excellent reputation for building beginner electric guitars, but they could not sustain that reputation in the amp market. If you are a Punk rock guitarist, then play Blink 182 or Sum 41 with it. But one thing I want to clear about the amp is: that it is perfect for Punk rock guitarists. Not at all, but I did not like the sound if I compared it with other amps. He uses this amp for having fun with his friends. This amp is the least used amp in my room, my nephew, who has started his electric guitar journey. I used this amp only for distortion and a clear purpose. ![]() If you are the kind of guy who loves to experiment with sound, then go for this amp.
